Ford Repair: 1977 Ford Ranger, 1977 ford ranger, blow air

Question
It does not seem to be getting any fuel into the line and perhaps not even into the pump. We replaced the pump in case that was the problem, but nothing so far. If the line is clogged, how do we check and/or fix it?

Answer
disconnect it at both ends and blow compressed air through it
check hoses for cracks especially at fuel tank if cracked it will pull air and no fuel-you can also take fuel cap off and blow air back to tank from fuel pump in case strainer in tank is clogged.

remove feed line to pump and connect a hose to it have someone spin it over see if you have suction if so pump should be good check back to tank if no suction check eccentric on cam or pump arm for proper location which will be under eccentric on cam sprocket (look through fuel pump hole in timing cover to make sure it is connected)
