Ford Repair: 97 Explorer v-8 ball joints, ball joints, tire store

Question
Had the control arms and ball joints replaced, now the steering feels loose when I run over 55-60.  Garage that did the work say all is fine, response by the tire store guy said that it's not unusual for a Ford to feel loose after this repair.  Am I nuts, or is this odd?

Answer
Not at all, not at all. Expeditions can get really scary. However, for the sake of argument, get a second opinion. It is yours and your families safety that we are talking about there. At that speed, you need all the handling you can get. My guess is, they missed something, possibly a tie rod end?
