Ford Repair: 97 Ford Exploror sport, 30 amp fuse, ford explorer sport

Question
I have a 1997 Ford Explorer Sport, the car has 80,000 mi. on it. I recently had an alienator installed, I don't think it has anything to do with the problem. When I shut the engine off the auto locks always open the locks and now also blows the 30 amp fuse in the control box. The windows and seat operates fine till the auto lock system blows the fuse. I need a diagram to know where to look for the short. I am a electrician by trade, the problem is where to start. Thank You

Answer
i don't think it is related either but did it start right after replacement of alternator?-the door locks and seat go thru a gem module which also controls a/c-wipers-radio-lights etc. i would start by looking around seats for scraped or pinched wires and then around door inside around lock actuators actuator itself may be internally shorted-see if the fuse will blow by working door locks without shutting key off if so it is probably in one of the doors. good luck.
