Ford Repair: Emission Code, coolant temperature sensor, mercury grand marquis

Question
Mark, I have a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis LS with the 302 V8. It has about 258K miles on it. I was wondering if my car has a (D)PFE Sensor on it, and if so where it is located. I have had a code reader for this car for a year now, and haven't been able to fix or get rid of it. The car has had a slight loss of gas mileage(21 to 16.9) here in the past year. It also seems to idle somewhat irradictly as well. The code states: "Insufficient EGR flow or EVP voltage high (SONIC) or PFE sensor voltage high or out of specification." I have recently replaced the EGR valve, EGR position sensor, Throttle Position sensor, Air Charge sensor, Coolant Switch sensor, Coolant Temperature Sensor, MAP sensor, IAC system, and the ignition coil. I was curious about the (D)PFE sensor because I was researching it and thought it might be it, but I can't find it or find any information on its where abouts or pictures. Thank you.

Answer
i don't show one for your car if you have it there will be a metal tube running to exhaust manifold with two small hoses coming off tube to sensor-you can call ford and see if one is listed for your car if you have it it will be aluminum or pot metal looking sensor about2 1/2 inches long and about and inch wide the basic part number is 9J479.
