Ford Repair: 2001 Lincoln Town Car, lincoln town car, obd ii

I have a 2001 Lincoln Town Car and when I try to start the car it wont start. I get the following codes?
From the OBD II Port

P1000: On board Diagnostics II Monitor/Drive Cycle Test Not Complete

P1260 Theft Detected Engine Disabled

It cranks but wont start. What does these codes mean ?

hey there, the p1000 code means nothing, it basically means a drive cycle has not been preformed since codes have been cleared.  the p1260, means the enginehas been disabled because the module thinks somebody has tried to steal the vehicle, there is obvioulsy a passive anti theft key(s) for this vehicle because of the theft code, has anything been changed recently, try having the car towed to a ford dealer, they are going to be the only oones that can help you with a theft problem, at worst case sceneraio the module for the PATS is faulty, good luck
