Ford Repair: stereo, luck chris, best bet

my 6 cd changer in my 2002 ford explorer just stopped working with all my cds in it. it keeps saying cd error. it worked find up until the other day when i had to jump it do to i left the lights on. Now it doesnt work what should i do???

it sounds like there is an internal fault now with the CD player, you can have the stereo removed and try having it reapired, but most of the time it isnt worth it, the stereo can be dismantled though to retrieve your CD's, You best bet is to have an aftermerket radio put in it, it will be cheaper and usualy sound much better,
