Ford Repair: 2003 ford xlt ext cab 3,0, ford xlt, luck chris

Question
I bought a truck 61.000 from car max after asking them 4 times to lower transmission fluid. cause on stick about 3/4" too high. they still haven't done it I just got the truck and question is do you think this will damage the transmission? and how do u drain the transmission since there is no drain plug. Thanks Dave

hey there, I hope you do know that that the transmission fluid has to be checked with the engine running. maby thats why it seems like they have done nothing, the fluid will always seem high when the engine is not running, and if it was over the limit it is a good idea to have some trans fluid removed, some shops have special machines to suck out the fluid, or you can diconnect a cooler line and run it for about 10 seconds, good luck
