Ford Repair: jack placement on Ford F-150 truck?, ford f 150, f 150 truck

I am having trouble in placing the jack to rise my truck off the ground so I can change the rear disk brakes? Can you please advise me on the correct placing of the jack as all the spots I have tried the jack is NOT tall enough to rise my truck?.... PLEASE HELP!!!! Thank You

hey there, im am guese you need the lowest part of the vehicle to jack up, i hope you do understand that working on a vehicle with just a jack is very dangerous, and you should always have a seconday advise to hold the vehicle up, there are a couple of ways to jack this up. for the rear, use the differential. that will get bothrear wheels off the ground for you and inthe front yuo can go ahead and jack it from the control arrms as close to the ball joint as you can get, if you still need more height, use a block of wood for assistance. good luck
