Ford Repair: Ford Taurus Power Steering Unit Leak, ford taurus, thousand miles

Hi, my 99 ford taurus suddenly started leaking fluid (a lot) out of the steering unit down under the car. If I take it out can I get the seals and stuff to rebuild it or will I just have to get another "unit".  (the thing that works the steering on the wheels.)

get another unit they aren't that expensive anymore and i would bet you have at least 140-150 thousand miles on yours-you can replace seals but that won't fix wear and it will probably just start leaking again soon and your repairs would have been for naught. good luck.
