front brake pad change no pron.rear is killin me.what has to be done and how about the piston? can it be pushed in or what? have no clue

Answer
if hit has notches in the piston it has to turn and then be pushed in and this process has to be repeated several times-spray some lube on the piston so the rubber dust boot won't bind twist and break when piston is being turned-some parts suppliers may rent you the tool which is the best way to do this-i have seen some people twist/turn the piston with channel locks then push on the piston. be careful and not damage piston-be sure and line notches on piston so they line up with the tabs/nipples on back of brake pad. good luck.
