Ford Repair: 2000 ford svt contour, ford svt contour, new spark

i had recently replaced the alternator on my car. note it was brand new alternator. it has new spark plugs and a new battery. after replacing it the head lights and interior gauges started dimming in a pulsing flicker. i checked the ground an it was fine. at a stop they dnt flicker. it hesitates a bit when accerating. its a manual. but the radio isnt affected at all. any ideas wuld be greatly appreciated.

was it a new ford alternator these things are nightmares with alternators-google it and you will see what i mean-i have put as many as three on one vehicle and yes these were for alternators-i won't use any others i have had worse luck with them-be sure wires are ok and not breaking.
