Ford Repair: starting problem, coil wire, fuel pump

Question
1991 t-bird,6 cylinder, within the last two month I've had th starter and fuel pump replaced.friday night the car wouldn't start (had ample cranking power) and had to be towed home.saturday it still wouldn't start.sunday tried again and car started right up. monday morning went to start car but wouldn't start again (plenty of cranking power). disgusted!

Answer
you may have a relay problem or idle control motor sticking-first when you turn your key on do you hear the fuel pump run for two or three seconds-if you do check for spark by having someone turn over the engine while you hold the coil wire about 1/4 inch from coil tower on cap you should see (or feel if your not careful) a good steady sparking. find out what you don't have (spark or fuel) when it won't start and follow up with me.
