Ford Repair: 97 Tbird CCRM, coolant temperature switch, engine coolant

Question
'97 Tbird 4.6L  Engine fan does not stop - even with no ignition on.  No codes.  Where to start? CCRM, CTS, PCM?

Answer
This is perfectly normal, unless it continues constantly. Just because you turned the key off, that does not mean that the engine coolant in the radiator still does not require cooling. The fan will stat on until th coolant temperature gets with normal range. However, if it is running constantly, replace the coolant temperature switch.
