Ford Repair: Sho Taurus 1994, haynes manual, photo copies

Question
I have a mechanic working on my car..use to own a shop.. changing my timing belt ( water pump done) needs to know the positioning of the 2 tensioners for the timing belt. If this is something in your field..or you can certainly forward my question on to another...

Answer
Mitchell is where I usually find that information. They have a great program, but it is expensive. When I need specs as you have mentioned, I go down to the library. Most if not all major cities, carry a complete line of Mitchell service manuals for all vehicles. I just make photo copies. However, that information can also be found in the Haynes manual for your vehicle available at most retail parts stores for about 15 dollars. If you give me the engine size, I may be able to help you further, if you wish. It's either the 3.2 liter, or 3.4 liter. It does make a difference.
