Ford Repair: for escape sunroof, ting

i have a 2001 escape the sunroof opens half way and stops. does not buck or sound like it wants to go anyfurther like it is stuck but just stops in the sampe place all the time..is there a switch like a child switch or any ting else? hoew do i fix it?

hey there, the tracks may have to be adjusted, or greased, if the motor detects a high load the motor will stop, a high load can be caused by a dry track or an improperly adjusted window track, try cleaning out and lubing the track first and let me know what happens.
