Ford Repair: Break Squeaking, disc brake caliper, caliper piston

Question
Good Day,
I have a 1999 Ford Taurus, I am having problems with the drivers side brake pad squeaking, passengers side is fine. Here is what I have done. I renewed the front disc pad and also had the rotors turned, I tapered the leading edges on the brake pads so the pads do not chatter when applying brake pressure, I cleaned both slide pin and and lubed with Permatex Ultra Disc brake caliper Synthetic lubricant. I  placed CRC disc brake quite to the brake pad where the caliper piston contacts the pads. I flushed the brake lines refilled with new brake fluid and bled all four lines starting from the front left to the right rear then right front to the left rear I took a Gatorade bottle filled it half way with brake fluid (Dot3) attach hose to the fluid and brake bleeder valve loosen the valve and commenced bleeding system. With liquid in bottle and hose submerge in liquid this prevents air bound and you can do this by your self. inspected everything I did, put tire back and torque lug nuts to 100 ft lbs. test dive and still continues to squeak. I have worked on lots of brake jobs but this one is giving me headaches and can not figure it out. Could it be the style of break pads or could the rotors be wrapped? I am baffled and maybe I am missing something, please advise. Thanks.

Answer
sounds like you did a very good brake job-i would seriously look at the pads-when you machine rotors you are suppose to wash them in soapy water
that is a practice we don't even do but are suppose to and one of the reasons is supposedly to keep down brake squeal-i would be looking at the pads number one i have had better luck with dealer pads and wagner
thermo quiets but recently on a lincoln aviator i had pads that were driving us and the customer crazy after the second time of remachining rotors-deglazing pads and cleaning slides etc. we took a really close look at the pads and found one with a piece of metal the size on a pencil lead it was much bigger than all the rest we replaced pads again and it was gone. look at  your pads really good. good luck.
