Ford Repair: main power wiring, power antenna, power wires

i have a 1999 ford ranger. How do you replace the power, ground, power antenna, and 12 v power wires running to your cd player, i had a short and the 12 v and power burned down to the copper. Any idea how to replace these wires?

hey there, you shouldn't have to replace any of the wires as a whole, just where the burnt section is you can cut that out and splice in new wires to repair the burnt out section, its odd that a fuse would have not burnt out before melting these wires!!!! you can get wiring repair kits from just about anywhere, but the must be crimped and taped together properly, if you need further instructions on how to perform the repair send me another message and ill help you a little more in detail..
