there are two valve covers on this vehicle and it is a 3-4 hour job for a regular tech and involves more steps than i can type here (i have a bad wrist and can't type very long)go to your local library and see if they have a repair manual or motorcraft.com and you can subscribe to a repair manual for three days i think for around 11 dollars and it will have the procedure in it step by step. good luck.
