Ford Repair: 1998 Mercuty Tracer Freeze Plug, exhast, freeze plugs

Question
My Tracer runs fine and the heater works just fine but it is leaking antifreeze from the rear of the engine somewhere. It isn't getting into the engine because there is not antifreeze being burned and coming out of the exhast. I know that larger engines have freeze plugs that can leak antifreeze if they become damaged so I was thinking this may be the case. What is your best guess for what is going on?

Answer
you do have freeze plugs-but also hoses-and even the heater core can leak outside behind engine-have it checked out makes no sense to guess
and you can even ruin your engine if it leaks to much and  you don't realize it and once the engine is low on coolant you can't trust the guage or light to be accurate.
