Ford Repair: Heater not blowing warm/hot, 2001 ford windstar, ford windstar

I have a 2001 Ford Windstar and can only get cold air thru the vents.  The air works great but the heater doesn't blow warm.  When I adjust the climate control temp., I can hear a clicking sound and it is really annoying.  It is getting to the point where it is making that sound all time even with the air/heat off.  Any suggestions?

you probable have a bad blend door actuator very common on windstars and or could have a broke door itself-the clicking is the actuator and when they remove it to replace it they may find a broke shaft on the door can't tell until actuator is removed-keep  your fingers crossed it's only the actuator-also it is not a inexpensive repair. good luck.
