Ford Repair: TRUCK WONT START, screw driver, engine compartment

Question
I have a problem with my truck stating, my battery is good. I have been starting the truck by using a screw driver to touch two prongs on the inside of the engine compartment on the driver side of the truck. once the truck is turned off I have to do the same thing over again to start thr truck. Do you know what I need to have replaced in order to get my truck starting with the key?

Answer
That solenoid you keep jumping needs to be replaced. The ignition switch sends a small current, to start it. Make sure you are getting fire to the wire going to the solenoid. If you have no "juice" to that wire, then the problem is in you're ignition switch.
