Ford Repair: 1999 Crown Vic, crown vic, torque converter

Question
I have a 1999 Crown Vic with 97000 miles. I have noticed when my car shifts into overdrive I have a slight chatter. It does not happen all the time or very often. I have been told it may be the torque converter. I am going to have the transmission fluid and filter changed. What is your opinion, and if the fluid and filter change does not help, is thee anything I can do short of having the torque converter changed?

Answer
you can try a service and ad a small tube of trans additive for trans shudder it comes in red tube. it didn't work on my 92 crown vic but that model had a problem with shuddering anyway but it will probably work on yours i think the name of it is dr. tranny
