Ford Repair: how to replace Ignition EGR Valve, shaft bearing, dpfe sensor

should i just buy the fsm book to how to replace and repair stuff on my 2001 ford expedition. check engine light is on and the code is the ignition egr and my front drive axle shaft bearing is all messed up. is this hard to fix. i saw the parts price already but how much would the labor cost. thank you for your time.

if you have an egr code which one insufficient flow code is most common and is usually caused by bad dpfe sensor or clogged egr passage-their is ways to test this-apply vacuum to egr when truck is running if engine rpm changes more than likely dpfe sensor bad if rpm stays same or changes very little probably clogged passage this is not proper and 100 percent correct but most common method. if you don't understand what i am talking about take it to a shop if you do try that test.
