Ford Repair: 96 aerostar water pump, ford aerostar, 1996 ford aerostar

HiTony welcome back, I have a 1996 FORD aerostar (V6) and want to replace my Water pump gasket. The problem is that I can not get the hearer tube out of the  water pump body. I removed the bolt holding it in and it should slip right out. All that is holding it, is the O ring but the tube is not moving and I am afraid if we put more pressure under the flange to pry it out, something will get damaged. It appears to be rusted in, I have been soaking it with WD40 for a week but it is not moving.The O ring must be keeping the WD40 from penetrating. Is there a trick too it? or do you have an idea about what I could do to get it out?

Hello Jurgen, Sorry for the delay. I had a basement full of water the time the came back. The o ring and tube will rust in there, I've not had good luck getting them out myself. I would replace the tube because over time the metal gets corroded and gets thin. Hope this helps Thanks Tony
