Ford Repair: Misfire cyl #7, ford crown victoria, noid light

Question
QUESTION: hey I have a 2000 ford crown victoria the check engine light is on code reading misfire in number 7 cylinder I just changed the spark plugs all 8 with motorcraft platinum and I changed all the coils too can you tell me what else could it be

ANSWER: It could be a number of things. Run a compression test on the cylinder in question along with the other seven. Are there any other symptoms? Also, get a Noid light and check the injector, if the compression checks out and the plugs don't appear to be "wet", you probably have an injector gone down. Replace all of the o-rings accordingly on the entire rail.

QUESTION: today i was finna swap the #7 with another but this morning i crank and check engine light didnt come on it been on 3 days what could it be

Answer
Have the codes read. You're last answer was garbled "today i was finna swap"???? The code will go away if there is a mechanical issue like a misfire and it is resolved? Follow my previous instructions please. If you have to, use the comments section when replying to answer the gas or oil foul question.
