Ford Repair: 1981 ford fairmont, ford fairmont, ground cable

Question
I have an 1981 ford fairmont that has a new alternator new battery and cables new solenoid and voltage regulator new starter, I keep having to jump start it, it will run for great for awhile and when i get back in to start it the battery is dead and i have to get a jump start, can you help?

Answer
If you replaced the parts one at a time, that could be you're problem. A dead battery will kill a new battery, as a dead alternator will kill a new alternator. One of the new parts must be defective. You can probably rule out the alternator. Also, make sure that you're ground cable is getting a good connection.
