Ford Repair: F-250, infrared thermometer, catalytic converters

I ask you about my truck with the 5.4 motor with the miss in the motor and you said to change the fuel filter so I did that and it did not help I was wondering if the fuel pump could be going bad? Thank you for your help on this matter.

If the check engine light is not on, you problem does still sound fuel related. You should have the fuel pressure tested to make sure. Have someone test it that has done it before and knows what to look for. Get the codes if the light is on. I am settling questions and going on vacation. You will have to post a reply on the comment. I will send you an email for it. One other thing, check the catalytic converters checked with an infrared thermometer.
