Question
I WAS RIDING DOWN THE ROAD WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR FELT LIKE IT WAS NOT IN GEAR. I PULLED INTO A PARKING LOT AND THE CAR WON'T MOVE IN ANY GEAR. THERE WAS NO WARNING EXCEPT THE THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON A FEW TIMES FOR NO REASON. THE TRANS. FLUID IS CLEAR AND THERE IS NO BURN SMELL TO IT.IT NEVER SKIPPED OR MADE ANY KIND OF NOISE. COULD IT BE SOMETHING ELSE BESIDES THE TRANSMISSION. THE CAR HAS 68000. MILES ON IT.PLEASE HELP

Answer
The state of Vermont has a lemon law complaint about the 2005 Ford Freestar traction control. With any luck, having the traction control inspected and or serviced will help.Check the price at the dealership to optimize you're cost savings. However, remember that a shop's price comes with a labor warranty.Hopefully this will not be too costly for you.
