Ford Repair: gas and spark no start, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pumps

Question
have a 94 f 150 4.9L. we have gas showing on plugs and also have good spark. It still will not start. fuel pressure regulator is not wet on vacuum side and we have fuel pressure at the schrader valve. the truck cranks strong and when you let off the key it makes 6 or so revolutions like it is trying to start. we replaced cap, rotor, ignition module, front fuel pump(it was not pumping). any suggestions are appreciated

Answer
Well, without the truck running it is kind of hard to test the rear fuel pump.Has the truck bet ran till the fuel tank was empty recently or very low often or recently.Fuel pumps depend on fuel to lubricate themselves,so running the pump out of fuel can be potentially as catastrophic as running you're engine out of oil.Dry cranking with no fuel adds to the problem exponentially.Withe the plugs getting wet like you say, however, you must also wonder about ignition timing.Try pulling the engine codes out of curiosity. They can be pulled in various ways from a tool to a volt meter.Instructions are in most repair manuals.Record the blinks and let me know what you pull up.
