Ford Repair: Front defrost panel problem, electronic componets, climate control

I have a 98 Navigator and just last night we noticed that the defrost panel in the front above the dash stayed on when we turned off the ignition. We turned the car back on, and then it would turn off. All a/c, defrost, etc buttons are off. Turn the car back off and air is still coming out the panel. I don't know if this is an effect from us changing the car battery last night. Any insight?

Hello Brandon, Some times when changing a battery it can cause electronic componets to act up. You can disconnect the battery for 5 min to reset everything and reconnect it to see what happens. If it still acts up on you try directly disconnecting the auto climate control head and re connecting it back to reset. Hope this helps Thanks Tony
