i have a 2004 ford focus and i haven't put oil in the car for a while. so Thursday when my brother drove the car its staring to make knocking noises in the engine. i put oil in the car but it is still knocking

Hello Keisha, When was the last time the oil and filter was changed ? You should be changing the oil and filter every 5,000 miles. Try doing that 1st, if the noise is still there thrn there might be internal damage to the engine and repairs can be expensive. I'm going off the info ypu're giving me. Hope this helps Thanks Tony
