Ford Repair: freeze plugs 2000 ford f150, head gasket problems, oil pressure loss

Question
I am almost sure that last nights freeze cracked a freeze plug on my front driver side.  I just do not know where to find it to know for sure.    I think it is not a gasket cause no water in the oil, smoke in the exhaust, overheating, increase in oil pressure, loss of oil, or anything else that I have heard are typical of head/gasket problems(with the exception of loss of antifreeze).  However, I can not find any schematic/diagram to help me check to see if that is where the leak originates.
Please help me.  I am closing on a house and need to start moving!!! aaghhh...horible timing!  Thanks for your help in advance.

Answer
Hello Paul, If there is a freeze plug leaking at the frt of the engine some teardown is required. There is a cover for the timing chains and the cover hides most of that on a 4.6L and 5.4L. If it is a 4.2L V6 I would look at the timing cover leaking. Hope this helps. Thanks Tony
