QUESTION: i have a 1997 couger and all of a sudden no power at all batt/good alt/good fuses/good but no dome lights nothing there was a theft light flashing on the dash but it does not now the haynes book i bought is no help please help me i just paid 8.000$ for this perfect car that is not doing squat?

ANSWER: I assume that you took the battery out and had it tested. If the battery tested good and you have no dome light coming on then you have a bad connection at the battery.Or perhaps even a broken battery cable.

Answer
If the car will not drive to be tested then you will need to buy a scanner. You can always take it back.Find what codes are present. It is imperative that you do that.I had trouble understanding you're last reply,it was a run on sentence. But that is o.k.Get the codes read.
