what size socket is used for the cv axle on a '98 ford taurus?

Unfortunately they sometimes vary.Most of the time it is a 36mm.A couple of things to try to avoid making several trips to the parts store.Have the parts guy pull an axle off the shelf,and check it there.Or buy the nearest 3-4 sockets and take back the ones that you don't use.I used to do that all of the time.
