Ford Repair: 96 ford escort, vacuum leak, flow condition

my 96 escort has been running fine with the engine light going on and off. its been on for about a week now and running sluggish. i get the reading for the engine light and it tells me its running lean and small or no purge flow condition. 2 different codes. what do i have to do to fix it?

The lean code is from either too much air,or not enough fuel.Try changing the fuel filter.A stopped up filter will cause the code and these symptoms.If that's not it,then you may want to see if you have a leaking injector.If it isn't the filter,then you have some sort of vacuum leak.Let us know how it works out for you.Good Luck.
