Ford Repair: 1988 ford 150 300 engine, air inlets, air control valve

Truck wouldnt start replaced fuel filter started, next day wouldnt start replaced fuel pump wouldnt start, replaced fuel regulater starts but wont stay running unless I keep my fot to the accelerater

Clean the throttle body and idle air control valve.The butterfly valve is kind of hard to get to being set back so far with the two air inlets.Spray intake cleaner on a cotton cloth and use you're fingers to clean where the flap shuts.The ports are clogged not allowing the air to travel through.Has does it run going down the road?(Not stop and go.)
