Ford Repair: 1991 aerostar wont star, filter lines, fuel inj

hi my 91 aerostar sat for a year it was running great when i parked it when i charged battery it started ran for 20 seconds then acted like it was out of gas i pulled the filter lines and turned motor over and fuel came out of line and i hear the pump run for a few seconds when i turn the key to start position is there any kind of float like on a carbuerated engine this is fuel inj any ideas would be appreciated

I need more information then that please.How long do you have to wait before it will crank back up?Did you change the fuel filter?Is the check engine light on?You're sentences are run ons.No punt intended, but the last part of the paragraph does not make any sense.If I understand you correctly,there is no float on fuel injection.A couple of things to look at are the ignition system.A check engine code would be of great assistance.
