Ford Repair: Ford Escape Idle problems, air control valve, coolant level

Question
My wife has a 2002 Ford escape, 3.0 liter. It has always had a strange problem where it might not stay running if it dropped bleow a quarter tank of fuel. Recently it wouldnt idle when it started, then if it did, it would idle so slow it didnt register on the tach.  Then mysteriously if you gave it some throttle, the rpms would come down clowly and it would drive fine for a while.  No check engine light comes on, but you do get the low coolant sensor every now and then (coolant is fine) The problem seems to come and go, it might stall the first time you start it in the morning, then on restart, it functions as designed, other times it stalls at most every stop.

Answer
The Low Coolant light is caused from a defective coolant level sensor located in you're reservoir.Have you're fuel pressure checked.Replace you're fuel filter before you check the pressure. Also, have you're throttle body and Idle Air Control Valve cleaned out if you're fuel pressure is fine.
