Ford Repair: gas issues, water in my gas tank, heet

if there is quite a bit of water in my gas tank how long or how many miles maximum will it be before i know something is wrong i fear someone may have done it intentionally

  Try putting a bottle of Heet into the tank.  Normally people use it to keep gas from freezing in the winter, but the way it does that is by evaporating most of the water in the gas.  If the water is going to cause a problem it will probably happen pretty quickly depending on how much you drive...the more you drive, the quicker it will happen.  Hope this helps.
