Ford Repair: Ford 383 stroker, mass air meter, fullsize bronco

right now i have a 91 fullsize bronco with a 351W, my question is i called a place called preciosion engines that gave me quote on a 351 that is stroked to a 383 since i already have a 351 can i use the same computer and fuel injection system or would i have to do any other modifications?

  Hmmm...a 383 Ford?  Strange...a 383 is usually a Chevy sized stroker (for the 350).  Not that it isn't possible, just a little odd.  You can use the same hardware assuming you have a mass air equipped computer and not a speed density setup.  I can't recall when trucks got them at the moment.  Just check under your hood.  If you have a throttle body and a mass air meter you've got a mass air equipped setup and you're good to go.  If you've just got the throttle body then it's likely a speed density system and you'll need to convert to a mass air system to run a stroker properly.  Hope this helps.
