Ford Repair: 2001 Ford F-150 - power locks, ford f 150, moving parts

Question
My power door locks (both sides) rarely fully lock and unlock.  Most of the time it unlocks/locks about halfway up or down or it doesn't move at all.  However, a clicking noise is made from in the dash and a normal door unlocking/locking sound is made in both doors.  Please help.  Thanks.

Answer
It sounds like the door locks are a little gummed up.  The problem could be alleviated by removing the door panels and spraying a good lubricant on all the door lock components to loosen them up.  Dirt and rust commonly causes all the moving parts to bind up, and then the door lock motors do not have enough force to make them move all the way.
