Ford Repair: 2004 ford taraus odometer, ford taraus, odometer reading

Question
My odometer in my Ford Taraus doesn't work any more. There is an info button that use to give a digital read out of the average MPG \ trip distance...etc the numbers started to flast behind the one that was displayed and within a few months it just went black. Now I can't see either the odometer reading or the calculated MPG. All other dash lights seem to be working ok. Is this something I can repair on my own and how would I go about reaching the broken part.
Thanks!

Answer
well this is tricky , the #5 bulb on the cluster is for the odometer , now to get to it will take some time and care
basically there is a panel on the front of cluster that u should be able to pull of , and then there should be 4 bolts holding teh cluster if u have the shifter on the column there will be a cable from under the cluster that you would have to remove , and the just unplug the connecters on the back of cluster , its a hard job if frist time , but good luck , some times the bulb wont fix it , may need a complete cluster
the cluster is the whole thing ,and the glass is part of it
