Ford Repair: 1999 Mustang Cobra, mustang cobra, cramped conditions

Hello Steve, My starter on my Mustang went south. I need to replace it. My question is. I can see 1 of the 3 bolts for the starter. Any tips to get to the rest? Type of wrenches anything that needs to removed for access? As you know the area around the starter is tight. Thank you, David

  There's no real secret to changing the starter...it's usually just a lot of cussing and busted knuckles.  You can do the job with regular hand tools, it just takes a little bit of clever thinking and patience with horribly cramped conditions.  Aside from that there's really not much I can tell you.  Hope this helps.
