Ford Repair: starting, ford f 100, jumper cables

Question
I have a 1967 ford f-100, when i turn the key over nothing happens, the battery is good, i bypassed the starter solonoid with positive jumper cables and the engine turned over so i thought that is what it was so i changed the solonoid, after changing it the problem still existed, do you have and suggestions?

Answer
Sounds like either your ignition switch or possibly the wiring from the switch to the solenoid.  You'll have to check for power at the ignition switch, if you have power there when you turn it to "start" then it has a bad wire.  Hope this helps,
