Ford Repair: Intake, dual plane, weiand

Question
Steve I have a 69 mustang grande coup. When I bought it, it had 351 cleveland with 4bbl heads. It was locked up real bad and I had to bore it 60 over. I have all the parts to put it back together. My cam has a five twenty lift. What kind of intake should I put on it? Thanks hope you can help.

Answer
Tony-

For a street car, I'd use a low or mid rise dual plane intake like any of Holley's street manifolds or Weiand's Stealth manifold.  Edelbrock's Performer and Performer RPM manifolds aren't bad either.  I've had particularly good results with the Weiand manifold personally.  If you're looking for more of a street/strip intake, I'd go with a single plane manifold from any of the same manufacturers.  Hope this helps.
