Ford Repair: ignition, spark plug wires, radiator fan

i got a 91 mustang lx 2.3 dual ignition and when i got the car only the back coil worked then 2 on the front and now only 1 & 2 work on the back ciol and my car is barely running on 2 cylinders. also car runs pretty hot fan works and bottom hose is hard

Hello Chuck,
    Most likely, both ignition coils need to be replaced. They fail internally and can't be repaired. Faulty spark plug wires can cause coils to fail, so make sure the wires are fairly new.
    As far as the cooling system, check for circulation to make sure the thermostat is opening(the air coming off of the radiator fan will be cold if it is stuck closed). You also don't want circulation under 190 degrees, meaning the thermostat is stuck open. If the water is circulating correctly and the fan works properly, then it most likely needs a radiator.
