Ford Repair: Flashing Air bag light, taurus gl, hickup

The airbag light on my 1992 Taurus GL ( 118,000 Mi., 3.0L V6)is flashing in a 3-5 sequence.  No Check Engine Light.  Car runs fine except for an occassional and brief hickup, lasting a second or less.  Feels more like a transmission "fart" than anything else.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Hello Denis,
    The 3-5 sequence is a code 35, which take a little more research to find out what it means. It's probably a clockspring(under the steering wheel). The running problem is unrelated, and you may have to wait for it to become a little more frequent to be able to diagnose.
