Ford Repair: 1991 Ford F150 Stalls during rapid acceleration, throttle position sensor, vacuum leaks

Question
engine=inline 6 cyl 4.o lit I believe. Problem the engine chokes out during rapid acceleration. Runs fine at idle and gradual rpm increases, but when you go from idle to full throttle it bogs down to almost dieing. vehicle was running fine right up until problem started. Check engine light is on and I've already changed the fuel filter, fuel pump relay, fuel pump, throttle position sensor, checked all the fuel lines for problems, and checked for vacuum leaks.

Answer
Just a few questions.  Does it actually stall when accelerating or is it just running badly and losing power?  If it is actually stalling, will it usually start right up again or does it take some time?  The next piece of information that could help us is why the check-engine light is on.  You are in luck--all you really need to read codes is a paper clip.  Check out this link, it explains the procedure pretty well and gives a list of what each code number stands for.

Alternatively, some shops and parts stores will do free code scanning for you.  Although a code will not always tell you what part to replace, it makes troubleshooting much easier.
Looking forward to getting this one solved,
