the motor works and will go down but up a have to help it go up.Can you help? Thanks tab

Hey Tab,
    If you have to help the window up,sometimes it is caused by high resistance to go up and down(caused by rubber mouldings, window regulator, ETC. If the window isn't fighting against unnecessary resistance, then the window lift motor is getting weak , and needs to be replaced.
    I would say most likely it needs a motor, but smooth regulator operation needs to checked before replacing the motor. With the motor removed, the window should be able to pushed up and down smoothly by hand, with no resistance felt through its full motion.
