Ford Repair: 2001 FORD ESCAPE ECM, luck chris, ford escape

MY 2001 FORD ESCAPE HAS AN ECM PROBLEM SO I GOT ONE INSTALLED IT THE ENGINE WONT CRANK AND THE THEFT LIGHT BLINKS SO I GOT ANOTHER ONE INSTALLED IT AND THE SAME THING IS THERE SOMETHING I NEED TO RESET

Hi Brad thanks for asking.
I need to know if this is a used PCM. If it is then the keys that you are using will have to be programed. The PCM that you just had installed will have the old key codes. That is why you see the security light flashing. Unfortunatly the dealer has to do this. They up the IDS scanned and clear the old key coeds out of the PCM and program the keys. You will need a min.. of 2 keys for them to program it, and make sure you bring all your keys. The charge for this is .5 of an hour.
